  1. It is not a kit. He made the two top rails with a tubing roller and mitered them to fit. The upper shock mounting points are countersunk for a Allen cap bolt Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. A chain tensioner wheel? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. The exhaust mounts are made using pieces of 1/8" steel 5/8" wide. And I welded them to a set of bungs I made. The front one countersunk for a cap head bolt and the back one threaded. Then weld to the frame and the exhaust pipe Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Got the support for the battery box figured out and welded in. Now I just have to figure out a license plate mount and a brake linkage and the fab work is done. Then I can break it down for final welding and paint and powder. The motor needs the top end done and while all the shit is out I can shave the lowers and start the bodywork Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Took it down to my buddy Scott at North Jersey Customs to do the seat rails on it for me while I finish up the sporty. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I just picked up a xs650 roller recently and I already had a motor. Got the roller for $400 with a title. Brand new hoops and stainless spokes from miles xs and 12 3/4" shocks that will be ditched in favor of 10.5 or 11" shocks. Gonna lower the front 3" and it is currently getting "brat" seat rails at my buddies shop. Progress will be slow until I get the sporty done and then I am gonna do a few things to this one then have fun with it. Going for a Japanese swingarm chop flavor on this one. Here is the cl ad I got it from Here are a few inspiration pics Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Got the exhaust hanger mounts figured out this morning. Getting closer and closer Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Suprisingly you don't use the main until it is really cooking so that would make sense. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  12. How does it run idle, off idle, and cruising speed? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I wouldn't think it is spark if it is running good except wot. Could for sure be a vacuum and could be a huge jet in the main killing it out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I got he has cap all buttoned up finally. Been slow on the progress lately. We decided we want to sale our house and I had to finish up all my projects on it to get it listed but that is done and I just sold my Bagger so more time for the sporty. I also just picked up a titled xs650 roller with 18" wheels from mikes xs, new hoops and ss spokes. New Firestone 18-4.5 tires and new shocks. Came with the og key and switch. All for $400 and I have a motor blacksmith Billy gave me many moons ago. Anyways back to the sporty. Here's the gas cap. And I got the pipes knocked out last night. Just gotta metal finish them and make some brackets for them. All I have left after that fab wise is 3 bungs in the oil tank, battery box support and finish weld everything then break it down for paint powder and chrome. While the motor is getting done and everything is out I am gonna shave the legs and do the bodywork. Probably go do some flake and patterns or something. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
