Okay,so I finally got a little bit of footage of the bike running and me riding it but I'm having trouble getting it to download.I guess these pix will have to hold ya'll over till I figger it out.The first is it,obviously. The second is the tractor headlight I rescued from the trash and a piece I got from an old floor lamp.Third is the seat I made and the fender I cut out of a 55 gal.drum.The fifth is the pegs I made from the gear track from an old drillpress and the kick stand I just finished.I'm still working on something to hide the wiring harness in.Still got to mount the rear light and brake switch and get some bolts for the front brake caliper,as well as re-do the linkage for the rear brakes. It would be easier to tell ya what I haven't made on this thing than what I have either made, modified or re-purposed.I love it and it rides better than I'd imagined it would with all the scrounged and scrap shit it's made from. There's some stuff I need really bad like a new throtle and clutch cable, shit you can't just make, but it'll come in due time,I guess.I'd like to thank every body who has talked with me and answered my questions and gave me inspiration and ideas for this bike.I know it ain't no CB or XS or anything, but it is what I had to work with. The forum's motto is Chop What Ya Got and I am.I ain't done with it by a long shot just like any other project.I am,however, having fun with it and learning as I go.If ya'll like it half as much as I do,Then I'll like it twice as much as any body else does...(ha,ha,ha,ha...)Lemme know what ya'll think...Later fellers....

I've made me a new exaust for the rusty bastard. It sounds great, too.I just wish I could get the video if it posted.I even started a youtube account and can't even get them put on there!!!but here are a couple of stills of the pipe I took off and the new on.Sorry they're out of sync. The funky lookin chrome one is the one I took off.In true chopper fasion,it's made from scrap. The big tube is a piece of a trampolene frame.Gives it a nice reverb,it does.Does anybody have any idea how I can get me video uploaded?I'm gettin a little frustrated with it. :Too_Upset: :hairpull: :damm: :brickwall: Good thing is,all the major work and fab is done.Time to ride the wheels off of it... :buttrock:

I sea some filters the other day with covers on them, like little plastic bowls. They looked to cut down on the amount of air pulled in,which is a good thing on some smaller displacment engines.I kinda tried the same deal and so far it has helped. Now I gotta work on the tail pipe to see if I can create enough back-preasure to get the popping to stop at higher rpms.I'm planning to replace the cdi as well. We'll see how it all works out as soon as I can get all the parts piled up and put on...Later fellers...

Well,I finally got the dough scratched together to order my parts for this heap. They should be here tue. or wed.I'm also working on getting another tank as well.I'm getting Longer cables for both throttle and clutch so I'll be able to do something different with the bars also.I did find a feller in town that carries the shoes for the rear brakes, which it despiratly needs, and a complete set-up out front from the MC to the caliper.I've still got to un-gomm the wiring,re-do the pipe and find new bearings for the front wheel.I also plan to make another head light as this one ain't very bright and I really want to see and be seen.I figger I'll use a regular round sealed beam hi/low and find a stainless bowl or maybe an old off road light housing to mount it up in.Oh,yeah, and a new battery.Bout all I got fer now...I'll get some more video when I get the fresh parts installed...Later fellers...
