[ 20130519_194859_zps7413ae3c.jpgnothing to exciting here,so much for plans,i couldnt stop and ride it, i had to keep going so it came all apart, engine and all,i am waiting on a stroker crank and the reworked head from hoos raceing, got the frame painted,i bought a eastwood powdercoat kit and scooped my neighbors old oven and powdered all the parts aside from the frame, started polishing the loonynum, lots left to do,still have to order new rims for the wheels

20130519_194630_zps048646ff.jpg this has had me obsesed lately, hasent run in over 20yrs,a real barn find, actually was stored in the guys basement for quite awhile, its got a built race engine, last run on the track in vancouver,it was high sided and never run again, the guy just parked it..I had to replace both master cylinders, made a mount just for the spedo and key as the tach was thrashed from the wreck, rebuilt and polished the forks, polished the top tripple, polished up some xt bar clamps, and bent the handle bars back into shape, then just dumped gas in,no carb problems, the dude stored it right.thenscrewed with the points for a few days and got my first speeding ticket in about 10yrs 30 minutes after I insured it..

Messing with headlight ideas,i got some stuff for led light, the loonynum pieces i got to mount the light in,so i spun some brass to hold it,I had to cut my first threads on the lathe for the mount,it was pretty simple, I was a little worried I couldnt do it,mounting pics comeing soon..

Thanks jeeperz, i hammered this out this evening. Since i lack the skills to make my vision happen, the vision was a japanese dude sitting on a toilet giving you a thumbs up looking over a newspaper. Seemed like a lot of work and a stick man might have been lame, so i just did a duck.
