XV 750 Single sided swinger conversion

Hi there!

just started my second X750 build . decided to go slightly different route this time. Saying with the USD front and the an NTV SSSA though.

this is how far i am for now:

The work looks awesome, and I'm not experianced with that swingarm, but doesnt the pivot need to be centered at the u-joint? If there isnt a u-joint at the differential endyou're going to grenade something when it cycles.

i ve done it before and it worked just fine for a long time. and still going strong. It doesnt really have to be centered to work fine.

welded it all up. made a subframe and finally dropped it on its own rims today. needs to be welded properly and strenghtened in a couple of spots.. pretty happy with it so far.

just a short update on what i have done today,

unfortunatelly it happened taht the shaft doesnt fit in the swingarm. I measured it wrong somehow. I have changed the wheelbase for around half of an inch compared to my previous xv and its tight.

i had to grind the swinger a bit and then i welded some pieces in to keep it strong enough. it all should be fine now :D

Just made them sets. Full stainless steel.

Seat and firing up is next on the list.

That will be a beautiful bike with some paint on it. Looking at the pieces, it cost a bit as well. I envy both your skill and patience.

I've been working on colours today. Clear coated some parts.

Some red accents added as well. Won't be visible too much unless u look for it under the tank, inside of the lamp and under the fender...
