bastard 75/76 sporty mid control ?

5 posts in this topic

wanting to put back to mids for several reasons, mostly cause I'm short. however these are the years that had the cross over shift shaft. doing research I can get everything new but the peg mounts. my question is can I use the 74 down mounts? I don't see why not. looking at parts I know the shifter doesn't attach to peg mount and from what I can tell neither does the brake. any and all help appreciated.

o yeah I picked up another ironhead...lol. swingarm chop this time!

I'd say use what ya got.

I don't know squat about iron heads (and hope to keep it that way) but I'm guessing you'll be really lucky if you can find the exact part you need

bummer. Probably take you a couple hours to find something online. Could make a mount in that time.... Just sayin.
