Finally finished my buddy Nick's bike today. Just got to tie a few loose ends, but it's good to go! Got a chance to snap some quickies this afternoon, here it is! Enjoy...

looks good man, nice work
If I was being executed by injection, I'd clean up my cell real neat. Then, when they came to get me, I'd say, "Injection? I thought you said 'inspection' "

They'd probably feel real bad, and maybe I could get out of it.

Ive gotta say, they look bull dogie and bad ass. Really nice clean job, you get up on em and they look like all business and motor, I like that. Allot of Virago's sold around these parts for good prices. Ive heard about the starter issues, but what about the bike as a whole. The reason I ask is like I said quite afew for sale around these parts, if there worth choppin, they might be easier to find than xs650's.

That looks pretty good. Too bad you couldn't get rid of the cables on the bars or at least run them internal. Those bars would stand out a little more, they're attractive.

Wow I have never been a Virago fan but that one is kick ass. You may have just given me an attitude adjustment.
Thanks man,

Wow, you really have a knack for making ugly bikes look nice. Both of those bikes are ones I've always thought were really ugly, but those turned out great. Damn low to the ground (have you had any clearance problems?), but they look awesome.

Not going to do that with an 81. Can you say "Monoshock"...Need an 84 and up to do what he did, unless your going to build your own hardtail..

You can build what ksdtoday posted. That is an 81-83 virago...

you could make a strut to fill in the mono shock, hoosierduckman,go to viragotech.com and you can get some info for the bike there,I have an 81 also.Do yourself a favor and bypass those stupid safety relays in the back under the seat.

I was thinking of hard tailing it. I do like the cafe bike though. Not a big fan of them, but I like the one ksdtoday posted. Thanks CONN.ROD for the links. Never been to that site before. Good stuff over there. I don't really know much about the viragos, I am an xs650 guy. The virago was free so I couldn't pass it up. Thought I could part it out if nothing else.

I will admit that I am not a Virago fan...but that bike looks cool as hell, it just sits "right"! Any issues with the shaft drive sitting it that low? What modifications did you have to make?
